Dining places

When visitors leave comments on the web, we collect the data shown on the feedback form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser’s user agent chain, to help spam detection.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you’re using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the approval of your comment, the image of your profile will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Multimedia

If you upload images to the web you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Web visitors can download and extract any location data from the web images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter your data when you leave another comment. These cookies will last a year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set up a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is discarded when the browser closes.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your display options on screen. Login cookies last two days and the cookies of screen options last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will be held for two weeks. If you close the session, the login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or post an item, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the publication ID of the article that you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Content embedded from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). The embedded content of other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites can collect your data, use cookies, embed a third-party tracking system, and monitor their interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are connected to that website.

Who we share data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long do we save your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who sign up on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide on their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

What rights you have on your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data of yours, including the data you have provided us. You can also request that we delete any personal data from you we have. This does not include data that we are obliged to maintain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments can be verified through an automatic spam detection service.
